Michael Prestidge: Serial Slices

For my serial slice model, I wanted to use the same "Net of Being" model that I had come up with for my free model. I didn't particularly like this model for my free model, but I wanted to give it another shot because I felt the model could look more distinct with a more geometric feel to it.

Because the model was already made, I only had to contour it to get the slices, add the two 1/4" vertical rods down the center, and unwrap it. This process was fairly straightforward, but took a good amount of time. Because of the size of the model, I needed two sheets in order to fit all of the pieces for cutting.
