Concept: The model is inspired by a mushroom structures and geometric architecture. I wanted the printed model to be small and a simple figurine object.
Process: The model base began with the basic soccer primitive in TopMod and had the wireframe hollow the model. A variety of remeshing tools were used to space to create a varied structure in the model such as the catmull clark and honeycomb tools. Maya was used for creating the spore-like structures and to shape the model.
Materials: From Keyshot a glass material was used for the model. If the model was to be printed a plastic would have been used.
