Michael Prestidge: Waffle Structure

For my waffle structure, I used the skewed star from the Dallas Stars logos as inspiration. I'm a diehard Stars fan, so I wanted to create something Stars-related in this course. I decided on the Star after looking at a couple of the past waffle structures. Creating the star in Rhino was pretty simple, so most of the work was spent following along with Professor Scott's tutorial videos in order to create the waffle-formed structure. After contouring, the Cut My Ribs and Massive Unroll scripts helped tremendously. Although the unwrapping is still monotonous with the formatting, I quite enjoyed working on this piece.
