David Hobson- Prosthetic model

Concept: 

as with the sketching and outlining, i wanted to try and mock one of the main enemies of the Half-Life series. i decided to try and mock the metro cop pictured below


Process:

continuing from the sketches, i added physical strap and added one that follows the jaw for added security. the mask was patched around the nose and the chin guard i extruded from the curve that formed on the chin after projecting. 
 the chin guard attaches to the upper piece via a small mouthpiece that you breathe through.
 the more i think about it, talking would be almost impossible, but you'd be thoroughly covered.

Materials:

for the materials, the game uses very basic plastics and clothes for said masks although they are full face. to try and keep with that theme, im trying to match them as well as i can. thankfully i was able to get a friend to download keyshot and apply materials and render for me.
