Devan Mitchell: Week 2 Castle

Concept: I was inspired by by 90's pop art of alien spaceships. This reminds me of movies like Mars Attacks or Men in Black.

Modeling Techniques: The tower was made with polygon primitives merged together with Boolean union, the base and joints were made with the same processes and then the polar array command was used to copy the tubing or railing around center. The tubing was made by the extrude curve command. The Deck was made by drawing a curve and then extruding it to a solid. The smaller groups were made by reducing the scale and then copying and moving them to the appropriate place.

Materials: The KeyShot materials used were copper for the tower, clear liquid for the tubing, base, and railing, iodized purple for the joints, and chrome for the deck.
