Week 9
For the Serial Slots project I chose to do a large number of hexagon cuts. The hexagon shapes capable of making mostly any shape. So I chose to design these with the modular utility in mind.


This is the root design with circles for inner cuts. I will save these to be the connecting items for each of the shapes.
24in x 24in half sheet for the laser cutter.
Finished with design they reminded me of Chinese mirrors. This wasn't intentional but I thought that was pretty neat.

Unfortunately the modular slots weren't able to be laser cut. I would still want these, I just have to make arrangements.
