Luke Landis Project 4 - Makercase Lamp

For this assignment, we were given a template for a box shaped lamp to decorate in whatever way we saw fit. Being me, I chose to do so with simplified outlines of iconic Star Wars items and characters.

I used Boba Fett's helmet, Grogu (a.k.a. "Baby Yoda"), Darth Vader's lightsaber, and a TIE Fighter as inspiration for my design.

I used curves to create my designs, then used the PlanarSrf and  ExtrudeSrf commands to turn them into polysurfaces, which I then used to cut holes in approximation of the walls of my lamp. (I created these by using the BooleanDifference command to cut the teeth out,)

In Keyshot, I used a wood material for the walls of my box, and I used a translucient material on some surfaces I added in Rhino to simulate the paper I intend to cover the holes in my lamp in.

To Be Continued...
