Michael Prestidge Midterm: Free Model

For my free model, I had the idea to attempt to re-create Alex Grey's Net of Being. This painting was used by the band Tool as the cover and interior for their album, 10,000 Days. I am a fan of both Tool and Alex Grey, so I figured this project would be the perfect way to create something related to both.

In order to accomplish this, I used Maya to create the model. I hadn't used Maya in over a year, so this model isn't as detailed as I would have liked it to be, but it was done to the best of my current abilities. Because there were no real worries about any constraints for printing, I was able to focus on making the model fairly close to the painting.
