Nathan Bower: Project 1: Multipurpose Token

For the free form project I want to design something both interesting and something that would be useful. I end up with two rings connected together by eight tiny support legs giving the model an appearance like a cage. The figure is roughly two in diameter and has about a one inch hole in the middle. This is the space that a typical mount in the dungeons and dragons game uses, but no figure representing a mount has a space for a rider.
For the larger ring I used the Curve Boolean tool to shape the ring followed by a Revolve. The second ring and the legs were made with piped curves. And the horns on top were made with pipes with varying radii. The multiples of the legs and horns were generated with the Array Polar tool.
