The chess piece:
We had decided on doing the knight piece because it was the piece with the most "character"; it had a face and body-like structure that both of us were interested in making. A My Little Pony joke was going to be used, but that quickly abandoned for the sake of time (and maybe dignity). This was close enough.
You know, we COULD spray paint this purple.......give it a crown. Maybe put some stars on it......
Okay, I'm turning in my man card now.
