Laser cutting file
Concept:
I'm a fan of the tv show Steven Universe after being originally drawn to the shows artwork. Their skies were simple enough to be layered while still being challenging.

Technique:
Shapes and pictures were built in Photoshop then opened in Illustrator so that they can get live traced. In order to get the shape pattern in the background, I applied the stained glass filter onto a gradient. Everything was then slowly traced, organized, and positioned in Illustrator.
Materials:
Initially began testing designs on Purpleheart wood, but used hardboard for this case as there are a few more touch-ups I'd like to correct before switching.
