Timothy Smiley 3d scanning

In ReMake

keyshot render

Concept

i thought that using my model blackhawk helicopter was the best thing i have to scan. It could potentially be a model i will use over multiple times. When thinking about how i wanted to scan it i thought about the photo stitching techniques i've seen and i really wanted to try it.

modeling techniques

i used an application called Remake by autodesk to stitch together a series of photos to use for the model. i used around 30 photos stitched together to make the final image. rendered with the free trial of keyshot(for some reason it still has the watermark). There were certainly problems with the stitching due to the imperfect lighting conditions but these made the model look rundown and destroyed which i though was interesting. I learned a lot about photo stitching nonetheless. perhaps i will use it in the future.
