Marvin Robinson Project2 3D Print

Concept:
My prototype is a jewelry piece that was inspired by honey bee. I chose to add more quadrangle shapes and hexagonal shapes to add variety and figure.

Techniques:
With the use of the poly linear tools extruding and copy rotation I was able to create a symmetrical figure that use the gestalt principle that use the horizontal and vertical axes along with the negative that create a facial structure. After this 3D model was put into an STL. file that uses a an additive printing process built with polymer.

Materials:
The bottom picture use a polymer printing process that combine several elements into one composition. The final product is to paint the polymer prototype in the similar scheme as the keyshot rendering seen above. With same black mat and green chrome red and gold accents to create a hierarchy of focal points based on size and color.
