I found it pretty cool that we would have total freedom onto creating a piece that would very well become a piece of furniture so I thought about what I would like having in my house.
Going back to the organic I looked at pictures of cacti and how these are usually used to decorate interior spaces.
I also found fake cacti which were re-purposed as lamps
Serving both as a decoration and a light source a cactus lamp would look both good and serve a purpose so I went ahead to work it on Maya to then do radial slices on Rhino.
Being satisfied with the looks of it I went ahead and got it all ready for laser cutting.
