These pieces were inspired by cross sections of airplane hulls. I like the way the outer shape of the airplane helps define the inner volume and wanted to replicate it while allowing for less specific external structures. The far right piece, in particular, is meant to be used for this. Additionally, these pieces are designed to fit together to form perpendicular connections. By doing this it affords the user to more easily define long stretches of these while maintaining rigidity.
