Influences: Most of my sculpture has major influences from the artist Richard Serra. His pieces of art with steel ignite something inside me, and I wish to evoke similar feeling in my own work. The piece I have created for the first project also stems from some of my previous work in steel sheet and rod. Below are two examples of Richard Serra's art.

I desire for my sculptural pieces to have strong even lines that give motion to the art, but still gives the sense of strength and solidarity. In my project 1 piece, I used Maya to model and size correctly. I then sent it to Rhino to verify edges and export to .stl for uploading to Shapeways.
