Week 6 Serial Slices

Here is my Serial Sliced model in Rhino.

The only problem I am having is with the recoloring of models pulled in from maya.  When I have an imported model from Maya, I cannot change the color of the wire-frame.  It always looks grey and lambert.  Is there a way to force it to change color?
