Inspiration and Influences
The inspiration I used for this were the old ball mice, but I added some finger rest for your thumb and pinky sit on. I also made the left and right mouse buttons larger to give the clicking a heftier feel.
I used a curve and projected it on the mouse and then spit it to put the buttons in. I also used the boolean command to cut the finger rest and then fillet all the edges.
Material and lighting
The materials I used on the main body was a plastic material and on the buttons and ball I used a glass material
