Concept: Had a little fun with this one. This hammer was inspired by a gift I received as a kid. It is based on a flashlight that was shaped like a pig. The head of the hammer provided a nice circle for the pigs nose,and I created the handle wider for the body.
Modelling Techniques: Created rectangles as guidelines for the head. Made the main body with a cylinder. Wasn't quite sure how to do the arms, but I ended up creating a curve and using the pipe command. The eyes were created using ellipsoids.
Materials: I used rubber for the entire pig/hammer. It gave it an organic look. Different parts of the pig were assigned different colors to emphasize the body parts.Was tempted to make it out of metal but it just looked weird.
