Thomas Perugini: Week 2 Duck

My inspiration for this duck is an old toy I we had in my old house. It was a wooden duck that rolled with a handle, and the wheels had rubber webbed feet, to make it seem like it was walking. The aesthetic came out with a subtle 1950's period look.

The duck's head and body are both made out of morphed spheres, and the eyes are flattened spheres. The neck was the result of connecting two holes between the body and head, The wheels are simply cylinders, but the edges are filleted on both sides. The handle and axle are only cylinders, the handle having a sphere at the end.

The duck's main body is made of ash wood, and the bill, wheels, and handle/axle are composed of orange, red, and blue matte paint, respectively. The eyes are a metallic black paint.
